The world is going through the toughest time of the century. Every country irrespective of there stature is facing a grim situation. A tiny virus is keeping the biggest of economies as a hostage of time. People across the world are locked under their own houses. Schools’ college institutes and religious places all are closed for indefinite periods.
In the 21st century, we are witnessing mass Graves in the most developed countries of the world.
The toughest time on humanity.
The last 6 months have been the toughest on humanity. In the 21st century, we are witnessing mass Graves in the most developed countries of the world. A tiny unknown virus has challenged our medical knowledge and made a mockery of our scientific advancement. At this time the whole world’s medical fraternity is working day and night tirelessly to control the situation and to develop an antibody against this.
We are dependent on empathy shown by fellow human beings.
Till the vaccination is developed we are dependent on empathy shown by fellow human beings. There have been stories floating around that of immense grit determination and empathy showed by people across the world. Doctors are working day-night leaving their families behind fulfilling the Call of Duty. We have witnessed people on the lowest step of working Ladder putting their fear aside and helping fellow humans to stay under the security of lockdown. The common man of the country along with the high and mighty of the nation came together to help the countrymen in the time of need.
The god is under quarantine.
So, at one side TATA’s have offered their hotels to be used by the medical staff in nearby areas, others pledged to produce medical kits leaving their line of production.
People are donating their salaries or following donate one meal one day.
The irony of the time is that God’s Home is locked down as well.
The god’s home is locked down.
The situation is grim and disappointing but at the same same time, came news of the Golden Temple (also known as Harmandir Sahib), where authorities have decided to bear the cost of all PPE kits and ventilators required in the state of Punjab to fight the global disease. Golden Temple is considered to be one of the holiest Gurudwara located in Amritsar, Punjab. It is considered the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism.
The statement given by the management said that
“The donation from common people will be used for their welfare only”.
The money from the gurudwara will be used to help the Doctor’s – god’s representative who is in the field extending his support to us.
This is indeed an amazing gesture from the Gurudwara temple committee. India has several temples Gurudwaras, mosques, and churches. It is the call of these times for each of them to take upon themselves and use their funds for the Welfare of common people.
The states are struggling to feed immigrants and daily wage workers. There are requirements for PPE Kits and medical masks and pieces of equipment.
With these rich trusts of various religious bodies, it is shameful if people are struggling with hunger and shelter.
Can’t they take upon themselves to Cater a certain problem arising due to the Corona threat in their nearby area?
The religious trusts in different cities are having enough on god’s name. The funds can be used wisely at this time to show God’s care rather than keeping the cash stacked upon for grand shows at peaceful times.
The question is not to hurt religious sentiments but to raise a concern and suggest a solution.
The religious bodies are not under government regulation but it is times like these which gives us a real picture of whether the stake-holders of religion are real followers of teachings or not.
There are ample of organisations which are foreign-funded to spread and name of God and it is the right time to make people believe that HE exists!
The gods in temples won’t die of hunger but a slice of them will die even if a single Indian dies due to lack of food.
