There is no god in a temple, for I see a rock there.
I find him in the blazing hot light
And under the breezy moonlit night.
In the mountains, in the meadows and the streams gushing by,
Breathing life into our very existence,
Spreading joy and smiles.
How can we ever lock him in a single place?
When the entire Universe is his.
Writing destinies of particles and souls
Brushing colours on all his moulds, with such regal splendid tones.
He’s in me as much as in you
He’s in all species underneath the sky of blue.
He’s in the depth of an ocean
And in a heart full of love and compassion.
There is no God in a temple, for I see a Rock there.
Shining as the blazing hot sun
And as an oasis in a desert sand
Quenching the thirst of a weary soul
In their search for a spiritual goal.
