Humming “Khaali hai jo tere bina, mai wo ghar hu tera..”,
She lies on her bean bag, sipping coffee and doodling in air,
Sunrays sprinkling through the green leaves, and warming the breeze!
Thinking of her distant dream, her eyes gleam,
The wine coloured walls, engraved with yellow spring falls,
The half burnt orange candle, the family painting…
Revered corner of the house, everything dwindling…
She collected her memories, twirled them in her hair-bun,
Looking for a miracle, to seize-clasp-run,
For she knew she is going to be back soon,
For she knew she is going to be loved soon.
